We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Locatin was exelent, walking distance to Oriental Village, Cabel Cars, Horse Ridding and Water Fall. Our cabana was by beautifull beach. Wildlife was plentifull with monkies, Hornbills, squirrls, bats,lisards ect. Breakfast had good selection of Asian and western foods and gold food was kept adequately cold, hot food hot. Beach caffee had OK mainly western orientated menu, coctails and live band at night. Cabanas basic, clean, comfortable. Staff friendly, efficent and helpfull

I highly recommend this resort to family with kids. We have four days here and always have fun at beach and swimming pool. The food provided by restaurant is just so so, however they provide kid panting games when you wait. There is wonderful view if sitting at open beach restaurant. They provide all kinds of tours but a little expensive than those you book at town. We have took one day to Oriental Village which is just 15 minites walk from hotel, there is cable car and horse/elephant riding there. One day we attend Payer Island snorkelling tour, the sea I feel not so clear as those of Thailand, perhaps it was because there were a big storm the night before. The cabana is just close to sea with a wide view. We see monkeys, squirrels and lizard in woods. It is a really little paradise to stay.

We stayed in Langkawi Mutiara Burau Bay for 5 nights and we had a very good time there. Nature at the resort is very beautiful with monkeys, horn birds, squirrels, lizards, etc. Breakfast was really good. The resort has a good beach and some activities like Batik Painting, Spa Massage and Watersports. We rented a scooter to get to know the island a little more at the shop just next to the resort. It is a very convenient way to get from one point to the other at Langkawi for only 40 RM per day. The Oriental village shopping complex is close to Mutiara, one can buy all kinds of nice souvenirs there
